Cette version nous projette 10 ans en avant en 2070 et apporte sont lot de nouveautées.
La matrice est désormais sans-fils et omniprésente et permet enfin de jouer les hackers (anciennement decker dans les éditions précédentes), le cyber/bio-ware évolue et le backgroud est un vrai régale.

Au niveau des règles, elles sont plus homogènes et plus claires bien que le système reste lourd (sinon ça ne serait plus du Shadowrun).
